1. Cholesterol Diet Menu for the First Day

Breakfast: Yogurt with low fat, 1 apple, 4 slices whole wheat bread smeared with 4 tablespoons homemade marmalade with orange and grapefruit. To make this homemade marmalade you will need 300 grams peeled fruits, chop and cook for 3 minutes with 100 grams sugar gelatin and 1 tablespoon orange zest.

Lunch: Rice noodles with vegetables – a tablespoon of olive oil saute with 30 grams grated ginger, a little garlic, onions, 4 grated carrots and 100 grams celery until they softened. Pour 1 dl vegetable stock and cook until the broth evaporates.

Dinner: About 50 grams wheat germ and 250 grams grated beetroot mix it with dressing from 1 tbsp walnut, ¼ tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of freshly grated horseradish.

Breakfast: Muesli with milk and citrus fruit, baked produce from whole grains.

Lunch: Choose a fish of your choice with a dressing that you will make – a tablespoon of olive oil saute with 1 small onion, add a little saffron, salt, pepper, a teaspoon of grated orange zest and juice of 1 orange. Cook 5 minutes, then pour over the fish.

Dinner: Make a salad of apples and potatoes. Bake in oven 3 medium potatoes. Peel them, add apple pieces, chop onions and pour a little vinegar, butter and season the salad.

Breakfast: Orange juice and carrots, bread from several types of wheat and young cheese.

Lunch: Dried figs, grilled turkey white meat with a salad of arugula or cabbage.

Dinner: Pasta with tomato juice, quince, yogurt, and cinnamon. Pour 2 tablespoons of honey and ½ tablespoon cinnamon in 1 dl orange juice and a little lemon zest and in this mixture cook the quince for 5 minutes. Wait until it cools down. After that in the yogurt add 2 tablespoons of honey and cinnamon powder, and serve with stewed quince.

After the third day, you can make combinations with breakfasts, lunches, and dinners from this menu. For example the fourth day you can make breakfast from the menu of the first day, or make dinner from the second-day menu.
